You will have noticed that I have not included much in the way of traditional image making. I did "learn" to draw and paint. I have studied figure drawing, landscape and still life.
The dragon designs were first produced as silk screen designs, pen and ink drawings for transferring to a screen and add colour by printing. In these designs I have taken copies of the original drawings and used computer image manipulation to add colour.
I used to enjoy producing very large pictures, working on the floor with sponges, rollers and poured paint but the results are expensive to frame.
If I ever sit still long enough to produce something I am happy with I tend to throw it away quite soon afterwards. I feel that everything looks "as though I painted it".
Someone said that this was a good thing. Too late now. It has all gone with the re-cycling.
